한국판 장애아 부모 대처행동 척도 타당화 예비연구

초록

본 연구는 한국판 장애아 부모 대처행동 척도의 타당화 예비연구로 이루어졌다. 본 연구에서는 Krause와 Petermann(1997)이 개발하여 타당화한 장애아 부모 스트레스 및 대처행동 척도(SOEBEK) 중 대처행동에 해당하는 23문항을 한국어로 번안하여 사용하였다. 만 0세~14세 장애 자녀를 둔 서울, 경기, 충남에 거주하는 부모 156명을 대상으로 문항분석, 신뢰도 분석, 탐색적 요인분석 및 공인타당도 검증을 하였다. 우선 문항분석을 통해 20문항을 선정하여 탐색적 요인분석에 사용하였다. 요인분석 결과 원척도와 같이 4개의 요인구조가 탐색되었으나 문항 구성 측면에서는 다소 차이가 있었다. 각각의 하위 요인은 ‘부부협력 강화’, ‘장애 자녀를 위한 적극적 문제해결’, ‘자아실현’, ‘사회적-정서적 지지추구’로 명명하였다. 척도의 신뢰도를 분석하기 위해 Cronbach’ α값을 산출하였는데, 척도 전체에 대한 Cronbach’ α는 .90으로 매우 양호한 결과를 나타냈다. 또한 부모의 대처행동을 측정하는 유사한 척도와의 상관분석에서도 관련 하위 요인 간 유의미한 상관을 보여 공인타당도가 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 한국판 장애아 부모 대처행동 척도가 한국의 장애아 부모를 대상으로 유용하게 사용할 수 있음을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의, 제한점 및 후속 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of Korean translation of SOEBEK in order to determine the extent to which this measure was generalizable to korean population. First of all, 23 coping items of SOEBEK were translated from German into Korean. Participants were 156 parents of children with disabilities from 0 to 14 years. 20 items were selected for factor analysis. Exploratory factor analysis was performed through principal axial factoring with direct oblimin rotation. The results of a factor analysis indicate that the scale consists of 4 factors: couple collaboration, active problem-solving, self-actualization, seeking social-emotional support. Internal consistency of the scale was high(cronbach's alpha=.90). In addition, the subscales were significantly correlated with a related coping scale (COPE). These results suggest that the Korean coping scale for parents of children with disabilities will be available. Finally, the implication of this study and limitation were discussed.
