본 연구에서는 우리나라 지체부자유아 부모의 스트레스 척도를 개발하고, 이 척도를 통하여 지체부자유아 부모 스트레스 경향 및 특성을 살펴보았다. 먼저 지체부자유아 부모의 스트레스 척도를 개발하였는데, 선행연구를 통한 개념 구성과 기존의 스트레스 척도를 근거로 문항을 작성하여 전문가 집단에 의한 내용타당도를 확인하였고, 요인 분석을 통해서 스트레스 척도 5요인 즉 아동 상태 및 예후로 인한 스트레스, 사회경제적 스트레스, 배우자 및 가족 관계로 인한 스트레스, 신체적 스트레스, 아이가 주는 용기 요인이 추출되었다. 하위 요인별 점수로 부모의 스트레스 경향을 살펴보았는데, 아동 상태 및 예후로 인한 스트레스가 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한 배경변인 별 스트레스 차이를 통해 그 특성을 살펴보았는데 부모가 건강하지 못할 때, 아버지보다 어머니가, 종교가 없을 때, 부모 연령이 40대 미만 일 때, 아동을 수용하지 못할 때, 아동이 초등학교에 재학 중일 때, 장애 정도가 중도일 때, 여아 일 때, 아동 교육 과정 수준이 정상학습 곤란 일 때, 양육 시간이 5시간 이상일 때 부모의 전체적인 스트레스가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop a rating scale for checking out the level of the stress of parents of children with physical disability to analyze the stress rating data according to the background variables of the parents. First of all, made items based on related researches and the existing rating scales and then examined them with experts in this area to prove the content validity of the rating scale. For proving the validity of the instrument, exploratory factor analysis by the Principal Component Analysis and the Berimax Rotation Method was used. As a result of analyzing factors, five factors for stress rating scale were extracted, and they were stress by children's condition and prognosis, social and economic stress, stress by the partner and family relation, physical stress and encourage by child. 34 best item were selected for the stress rating scale. And it was proved to be the reliability through Cronbach α, which showed internal consistency reliability. The Cronbach of stress rating scale rating scale was .92 and the reliabilities of 5 factors were .81-.89. And also they were proved to be the reliability of the re-test, which showed to have the correlation coefficient .88. Also, the concurrent validity was proved with PSI. The result of analyzing correlation between PSI said that the concurrent evidences of the stress rating scale were .89 which was highly related. With respect to the differences of background variables about stress rating, the stress showed meaningful differences according to parents' health, age, psychology, the children's school, the degree of the impairment, sex, education level, the period of raising children and whether each parent believed in a religion or not.
