지체장애학교 특수교사가 인식하는 수업설계의 과정과 어려움

이 연구는 지체장애학교에 근무하는 특수교사가 인식하는 수업설계에 대한 중요도와 실천정도 간의 차이를 살펴보고, 수업설계과정을 조사하여 지체장애 특성을 고려한 실제적인 지원 방법을 찾고자 실시하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 지체장애 특수학교의 특수교사 175명을 목적 표집 하여 설문조사하였다. 지체장애학교 교사들은 수업설계의 각 활동에 대한 중요도 인식과 실천정도 간에 유의미한 차이를 보이고 있었다. 수업설계는 학생 현행수준 및 요구분석-교육과정분석-교육내용선정 및 수업 목표설정-학생수준별 목표설정-수업모형 및 교수학습방법계획-형성평가-돌발 상황 대비의 7단계로 수행하고 있었다. 교사들은 수업설계를 하면서 학습목표의 설정, 교수·학습 활동의 계획, 수업자료의 선정 및 제작, 수업 실행, 개별화된 교수적 지원, 교육성과의 평가, 수업개선 노력 등에서 상당한 도전을 받고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 지체장애학생의 고유한 특성을 고려한 수업설계과정에 대한 실질적이고 구체적인 분석과 함께, 앞으로 지체장애 특수교육에서 실천해 나가야 할 수업설계에 대한 연구의 방향에 대해 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study intended to explores in-service teachers' perceptions and enactment of instructional design in their teaching for students with Physical disabilities. Total of 175 special education teachers for students with physical disabilities answered offline survey developed to investigate how they perceive instructional design activities and how they actually enact it during their actual instructional planning. As a result of study, special education teachers perceive all instructional design activities as very important for enhancing student learning. However, special education teachers did not implement these activities considerably as much as they perceived. Special education teachers for students with physical disabilities had challenges in managing instructional design process in terms of learning objectives, instructional activities and materials, instructional adaptation, evaluation, and teacher reflection. The implications for not only instructional design but also teaching and learning in special education were discussed.
