최근에 모든 사람을 위한 유니버설 디자인 적용 운동이 있어 여러 가지 장벽이 있는 지체부자유아학생에게 물리적 환경과 교육을 적용하는데 있어서 보다 편리하고 통합된 환경을 제공하기 위한 것으로 나타난 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지체부자유학생을 포함한 모든 사람들이 이용할 수 있도록 공평성, 유연성, 단순성, 지각적 정보, 오류의 최소화, 신체적 노력의 최소화, 사용자의 접근과 이용에 편리함이 고려되어야 한다. 둘째, 편의 시설은 지체부자유학생이 편리하면 비장애인도 편리하도록 만든 제품과 시설을 서로 활용함으로서 자연스러운 통합의 환경을 만들어야 한다. 셋째, 모든 학생에게 적용되는 유니버설 디자인 개념의 교육과정 운영이 교육과정을 구성할 때 정보를 제시하거나 설명하는 수단이 학습자가 잘 습득할 수 있는 양식을 선택하여 학습에서 부딪치게 되는 어려움을 보완해 줄 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide students with physically disabilities universal design to their physical environment and education for more integrated circumstances. First of all, the idea of universal design is the supportive and adaptive design which includes people with disability and accessive design. Moreover, there are many things to be considered as follows; equitable use, flexibility in use, simple and intuitive information, tolerance for error, low physical effort, size and space for approach and use in physical environment and education. Second, Facilities for the students with physical disability should be convenient to use both for the disabilities and nondisabilities for the integrated environment. Third, Universal design could be many ways of compliment in various difficulties that students with physically disabilities face in learning situation in the curriculum design and practice.
