이 연구의 목적은 보편적 설계의 철학과 보편적 학습 설계의 교육철학을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법은 문헌연구를 하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보편적 설계의 철학이다. 보편적 설계는 단순히 건물이나 편의시설을, 추가 비용 없이 혹은 거의 없이 설계함으로써, 장애의 유무에 상관없이 모든 사람에게 매력적이고 기능적이도록 설계하는 것이다. 보편적 설계의 철학은 무장애 설계, 통합설계, 모든 이를 위한 설계라는 특징으로 요약된다. 둘째, 보편적 학습설계의 교육철학이다. 보편적 학습 설계는 모든 이를 위한 교육과정 및 교수·학습자료 설계로서 교육철학은 다음과 같다. 1) 이상적 인간상은 학습전문가이다. 2) 목적과 목표는 모든 이를 위한 교육과정 및 교수·학습자료 설계이다. 3) 교수 방법은 과제의 맥락, 학습자의 사회적, 정의적 차원, 교실 분위기 등을 토대로 학습자에 따라 변화할 수 있고 차별화되어야 한다. 그리고 진보 정도를 지속해서 감시할 수 있어야 한다. 구체적 방법은 다양한 인지적 네트워크 지원, 다양한 전략적 네트워크 지원, 다양한 정서적 네트워크 지원 등이다. 4) 내용은 보편적 설계의 7가지 원리의 교육적 활용에서 확인할 수 있다. 7가지 원리의 교육적 활용은 공평한 교육과정, 융통성 있는 교육과정, 간단하고 직감적인 교수, 다양한 표현 수단들, 성공 지향적 교육과정, 적절한 학습자의 노력 수준, 학습을 위한 적절한 환경 등이다. 그리고 5) 교사와 학생의 관계는 수평적 관계이며 협력적 관계라고 할 수 있다. 장애/비장애 학생들이 수업에서 최상의 수업을 받을 수 있도록 교과과정이 설계되어야 하며, 수업에 관련된 다양한 정보를 학생에게 제공할 수 있어야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the philosophy of universal design and the educational philosophy of universal design for learning(UDL). The research method was studied literature. The results are as follows. First, it is a philosophy of universal design. Universal design is intended to simplify everyone's lives by making products, communication, and environments already rescued as useful as possible, with as few people as possible or at no additional cost. The philosophy of universal design is summarized as barrier free movement design, integrated design, design for all. Second, it is the educational philosophy of UDL. UDL is a teaching and learning design for all, and the educational philosophy is as follows. 1) The ideal human image is a learning expert. 2) Objectives are educational design for all. 3) The teaching method should be able to be changed and differentiated according to the learner based on the context of the task, the social and the positive dimension of the learner, and the atmosphere of the classroom. and it should be able to continuously monitor progress. First, various cognitive network support, second, various strategic network support, and third, various emotional network support. 4) Contents were able to confirm contents of UDL in educational use of seven principles of universal design. The educational uses of the seven principles are as follows. It is an equitable curriculum, a flexible curriculum, a simple and intuitive teaching, a variety of means of expression, a success-oriented curriculum, a level of effort for the appropriate learners, and an appropriate environment for learning. and 5) The relationship between teachers and students is a horizontal relationship and a collaborative relationship. The curriculum should be designed so that students with disabilities/non-disabilities receive the best possible instruction in the class, and be able to provide students with various information related to the class.
