소그룹 마인드 맵 중재가 경직형 뇌성마비 아동의 어휘력 향상에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 경직형 뇌성마비 아동 3명에게 마인드 맵 중재를 실시하고 어휘력의 향상을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 아동들의 연상어휘수, 품사별 출현율, 전체 발화 수, 평균 낱말 길이를 측정하였다. 중재는 사전-사후 설계를 실시하여 사전평가와 중재후의 사후 평가를 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 소그룹 마인드 맵 중재가 경직형 뇌성마비 아동이 주제어에 대한 연상 어휘 수를 증가시켰다. 둘째, 소그룹 마인드 맵 중재가 경직형 뇌성마비 아동이 주제어에 대한 연상 어휘에 대한 명사에 제한적 이었던 품사 출현을 동사와 형용사로 확장되어 출현되도록 하는데 효과적이었다. 셋째, 소그룹 마인드 맵 중재가 경직형 뇌성마비 아동의 전체 발화 수 향상에 효과적이었다. 넷째, 소그룹 마인드 맵 중재가 경직형 뇌성마비 아동의 평균 낱말 길이 향상에 효과적이었다. 이상과 같은 결과를 바탕으로 소그룹 마인드 맵 언어중재가 경직형 뇌성마비 아동들의 어휘력 향상에 효과적이었음을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of mind map activities on the improvement of the lecicon ability of children with spastic cerebral palsy. Three spastic cerebral palsied children were the subjects for the program and a before-after scheme was applied to determine the effects on his or her lexicon competence. The results of the study were the following: Frist, small group mind map activities increased the number of the associated words with the given word. Second, after the program performed, the frequency of noun usage decreased, while that of verb usage increased. Also, the usage of descriptive words surfaced. Third, this program increased the number of total utterance from the subjects. Fourth, this program increased the mean length of utterance in words of the subjects. These results suggest that small group map activities have a positive effect on the language competence of children with spacitic cerebral palsy.
