비상징적 의사소통 평가척도(AINC) 타당화 및 유형탐색

초록

이 연구는 학령기 지체장애인, 정신지체인, 자폐성장애인이 사용하는 비상징적 의사소통 행동에 대한 예비평가문항을 개발하여 이를 타당화하고 문항의 유형을 탐색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구 고찰을 통해 비상징적 의사소통 행동을 수집하여 86개의 예비평가문항을 구성하였고, 429명의 전문가(특수교사 및 언어치료사)들로부터 비상징적 의사소통 행동에 대한 평가문항으로써의 중요도를 조사하여 평균과 표준편차, 문항분석, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 타당화하였다. 그 결과, 비상징적 의사소통 행동은 ① 의사소통 담화 기능, ② 의사소통 형태- 동작형, ③ 의사소통 기능-요구 및 거절하기, ④ 의사소통 형태-표정형, ⑤ 의사소통 형태-성인 의존형, ⑥ 의사소통 형태-주시형, ⑦ 의사소통 기능-정보 요구 및 대화 수정, ⑧ 의사소통 형태-신체 움직임 및 음성형의 8개 영역 52개 문항으로 유형화하였다. 이 연구는 향후 장애영역별 비상징적 의사소통 행동에 대한 차이 검증은 물론, 새로운 집단을 대상으로 한 확인적 요인 분석을 통해 과학적이고 객관적인 비상징적 의사소통 평가체계를 마련할 수 있는 기틀을 제공하고 있다.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to develop and validate assessment index on nonsymbolic communication (AINC) for individuals with severe disabilities. Preliminary items of nonsymbolic communication skills was 86, and 429 experts selected the level of importance for each item. The validation of the assessment items was conducted by means, standard deviation, item analysis, and factor analysis. As a result, we found out 8 areas and 52 items: ⑴ Discourse Function,⑵ Communicative Forms - Actions(or Motion), ⑶ Communicative Functions -Request & Protest Objects/Actions/Persons, ⑷ Communicative Forms - Facial Expression, ⑸ Communicative Forms - Dependance on Adults ⑹ Communicative Forms - Watching(Eye-Gazing, Eye-Pointing, Eye-Tracking etc.), ⑺ Communicative Functions - Information Request & Repair of Individual's Message, ⑻ Communicative Forms - Physical Movement & Vocalizations. Users' behaviors of nonsymbolic communication could be approached systematically and objectively by the assessment index constructed through this study.
