입국 초기 새터민의 진로개발을 위한 직업카드분류법의 적용 연구

이 연구의 목적은 입국 초기 새터민을 대상으로 직업카드분류법을 적용하여 활동 참여자 개인적 변인에 따라 진로미결정 변화를 사전-사후 비교해 봄으로써 새터민 진로개발의 구체적 학습방법으로서 직업카드분류법의 활용 가능성을 타진하고 활용을 위한 시사점 도출을 목적으로 한다. 이를 달성하고자 입국 초기 새터민 31명을 대상으로 직업카드분류법 활동을 전개한 후, 진로미결정 수준에서의 사전-사후 변화를 분석하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 입국 초기 새터민은 직업카드 분류 활동을 참여하기 전에 비하여 참여한 후에 진로미결정 수준이 낮아졌다. 둘째, 진로미결정 수준의 하위요인별로 살펴본 결과 동기 부족 요인을 제외하고 결단성 부족, 직업에 대한 지식 부족, 자신에 대한 이해 부족, 직업과 자신간의 갈등, 외적인 조건들과 자신간의 갈등 등의 요인에서 참여 전후 의미있는 변화가 나타났다. 셋째, 참여자의 개인적 특성에 따라 직업카드 분류 활동 참여 전후의 변화에 차이가 있는지 분석한 결과, 연령과 가족동반 입국 상태에 따른 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 한편 학력이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단에 비하여 직업에 대한 지식 부족과 직업과 자신간의 갈등에서 긍정적으로 변화한 차이가 상대적으로 컸다. 또한 제3국가 체류의 기간이 짧을수록 직업카드 분류 활동 후 직업에 대한 지식 부족 상태가 더 크게 호전된 것으로 나타났다. 자녀가 있는 집단과 남한에 거주 중인 동거 예정 가족이 있는 집단에서 결단성 부족의 감소가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. ① 입국 초기 새터민을 대상으로 한 진로개발에 있어 직업카드분류법은 짧은 시간 내에 학습자의 참여를 촉진할 수 있는 학습도구로 활용 가능하다. ② 직업카드분류법에의 참여는 새터민들로 하여금 진로미결정에 영향을 미치는 자신에 대한 이해와 직업정보 부족을 완화하는데 기여하였다 ③ 입국 초기 새터민을 대상으로 한 진로개발에 있어 직업카드분류법을 활용할 때 개인적 특성에 따른 세분화는 심각하게 고려하지 않아도 될 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine possibilities of vocational card sort as a leaning method for the North Korea defectors at entrance early stage to improve their career decision status. To achieve this objective, vocational card sort was performed for 331 participants. And participants had taken assessment tests related to career indecision level before and after performing vocational card sort. Paired comparison t-test, t-test, ANOVA were used as statistical methods to demonstrate the difference of career indecision level between pre-participation and post-participation. To sum up results of this study, first, their career indecision level decreased after taking part in vocational card sort. Second, sub-factors of career indecision were changed positively after participation except only motivation factor. Concretely, it was shown effective to improve lack of determination, deficiencies in knowledge of career and understanding themselves, conflict between career and themselves, conflict between surroundings and themselves. Third, it was demonstrated different change according to their personal attribute such as education background, the length of their stay third countries, whether having children or not.
