본 연구는 중국어 능원동사 "能"과 "可以"의 부정 형식에 관한 연구로, 두 능원동사의 의미와 사용 맥락을 분석하고 교육적 제언을 제시한다. 문헌 분석과 실제 사용 사례 분석을 통해 "能"의 부정 형식 "不能"은 주로 능력이나 조건적 불가능을 나타내며, "可以"의 부정 형식 "不可以"는 주로 사회적 또는 규범적 허용 부족을 나타냄을 확인했다. 연구 결과는 중국어 학습자들이 이 두 능원동사의 부정 형식을 정확히 구분하여 사용할 수 있도록 돕는 데 기여하며, 교육 현장에서의 효과적인 교수법을 제안한다.
Abstract
This study investigates the negative forms of the Chinese modal verbs "能" (néng) and "可以" (kěyǐ), analyzing their meanings and usage contexts and offering educational recommendations. Through literature review and analysis of actual usage examples, it was found that the negative form of "能" ("不能") primarily indicates a lack of ability or conditional impossibility, whereas the negative form of "可以" ("不可以") primarily indicates a lack of social or normative permission. The findings contribute to helping Chinese language learners accurately distinguish and use these negative forms, proposing effective teaching methods for educational settings.
