초록
This study aimed to analyze regional differences in tourism consumption in China following the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing stable pre-pandemic data, we applied a multiple linear regression model to conduct an in-depth analysis of the key factors influencing tourism consumption. The Chinese tourism market was examined by categorizing it into four major dimensions: economic size, human resources, openness, and transportation. International tourism revenue (ITR) and international tourist (IT) indicators were employed as dependent variables to measure tourism consumption. The primary findings of this study reveal that local tourism consumption in China is not contingent on economic development; instead, it is significantly impacted by abundant human resources, regional openness, and transportation infrastructure. The results of this study are valuable as they offer policy recommendations to promote balanced and sustainable development of the tourism industry across various regions in China.
