Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationships between masteristic learning, masteristic achievement, perceived organizational support and meaningful work, and to investigate if career stage-specific differences in the structural relationships. To achieve the purposes, an online survey was conducted among adult workers in Korea, and 387 were used for the analysis. Structural equation model analysis and multiple group analysis were used to examine the relationship between the research models. The main findings are summarized as follows. First, a direct and static effect of masteristic learning, perceived organizational support, and meaningful work exist on masteristic achievement. Second, a significant indirect effect of perceived organizational support and meaningful work on the relationship between masteristic learning and masteristic achievement exist. Third, there were significant between-group differences in some paths based on career stage, with early career stage having a stronger effect on the relationship between perceived organizational support and masteristic achievement and the relationship between perceived organizational support and meaningful work. Discussions and conclusions are drawn from the above findings and suggestions are made for further research.
