본 연구는 생산기술구조의 융합 관점에서 제조업과 서비스업간 연계수준을 정량적으로 측정하여 네트워크로 시각화하고, 관련된 융합도가 제조업 생산에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 주요한 분석결과로 첫째, 제조업과 지식집약사업서비스(KIBS) 간의 강한 연계는 전반적으로 제조업의 생산에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 융합의 효과는 제조업 기술수준과 세부 KIBS 분야에 따라 달라진다. 중고위기술 제조업의 생산에는 과학기술전문서비스, 사업전문서비스, 연구개발과의 융합이 긍정적인 영향을 끼치지만, 중저위․저위기술 제조업의 경우 연구개발 및 정보통신서비스와의 융합은 부정적인 것으로 분석됐다. 셋째, 제조업과 KIBS간 연계⋅융합은 지역별로 이질적인 영향을 미친다. 이는 지역마다 산업구조 및 주력제조업이 이질적이기 때문에 발생한 결과로 해석된다. 따라서 제조업에 대한 서비스 중간투입 확대정책을 수립함에 있어 제조업의 기술수준을 고려하여 적합한 KIBS와의 융합을 촉진할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
From a convergence perspective of production technology structure, this study measured the level of linkage between manufacturing and service industries and analyzed the effect of convergence on manufacturing production. As main findings, firstly, the strong linkage between manufacturing and knowledge-intensive business services (KIBS) mostly has a positive impact on the manufacturing production. Secondly, the effect of convergence depends on the technology level of manufacturing and the sub-industries of KIBS. Thirdly, the impact of convergence between manufacturing and KIBS is heterogeneous across regions. Therefore, manufacturing-service convergence should be pursued by considering the technology level of manufacturing and the sub-industries of KIBS.
