본 연구는 미국 연방준비제도(FED)의 금리결정이 미국 실물경제에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 미국 금리결정에 주요한 GDP 성장률 등의 독립변수와 시장 신뢰지수 등 종속변수로 설정하였다. 본 연구 결과 시장신뢰, 소비경향, 경기 순환주기에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 거시경제 지표와 소비자·기업 심리를 다변량 통계 분석을 활용해 제시하였다는 점이다.
Abstract
This study aims to empirically analyze the impact of the US Federal Reserve's (FED) interest rate decision on the US real economy. The independent variable is the GDP growth rate, which is the main determinant of the US interest rate decision, and the dependent variable is the market confidence index. The results of this study show that there is a significant impact on market confidence, consumption behavior, and business cycle, and that macroeconomic indicators and consumer and business sentiment are presented using multivariate statistical analysis.
