기존 전쟁의 전장은 육군의 지상과 해군의 해상, 공군의 공중이었다면, 미래 환경의 변화를 통해 전장의 영역이 우주와 사이버 공간까지 확장되어, 새로운 영역에서의 작전수행 개념과 능력을 향상 시키려는 노력이 중요해지고 있다. 미래전에서는 대부분의 작전이 사이버 공간과 전자스펙트럼공간에서 동시다발적으로 이루어질것이며, 시간적측면에서 사이버전자전은 모든 작전과정에 관여하게 될 것이다. 또한 적 병력을 격멸하는 기존의 전쟁형태에서 적 네트워크망 및 시스템 마비하는 것이 전쟁의 우의를 차지하는것이 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사이버전자전의 개념과 사이버전자전 주요 공격유형과 교리 및 기술적 동향을 통해 국내ㆍ외 사이버전자전의 발전추세를 확인하며, 위협이 되는 공격기술을 OSI 7계층과 연계하여 정의하고, 한국군의 사이버전자전의 발전방향을 제시한다. 본 연구는 사이버전자전의 개념과 대응지침 및 기준을 정의하는데 기여 할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
If the existing battlefields of war were the army's ground, navy's sea, and air force, efforts to improve the concept and capability of operations in new areas are becoming more important as the battlefield area expands to space and cyberspace through changes in the future environment. In the future, most operations will take place simultaneously in cyberspace and electronic spectrum space, and in terms of time, cyber warfare will be involved in all operational processes. It is also important that the enemy network and system paralysis take the advantage of war in the existing form of war that destroys enemy forces. Therefore, this paper identifies the development trend of domestic and foreign cyber warfare through the concept of cyber warfare, major attack types, doctrines, and technical trends, defines threatening attack technologies in connection with the OSI 7 layer, and suggests the direction of the Korean military's cyber warfare development. This could serve as a basis for defining the concept and response guidelines of cyber warfare.
