This study aimed to apply a verbal self-defense education program to teachers and analyze its effectiveness in addressing issues in the school environment caused by recent infringements on teachers’ rights. A verbal self-defense education program based on the verbal-Aikido method was developed and implemented in four stages. The program consisted of (1) verbal sensitivity diagnosis, (2) understanding the verbal-Aikido method, (3) applying the verbal-Aikido method, and (4) self-reflection. The results of this study indicated that the verbal self-defense education program effectively reduced individual verbal sensitivity. Additionally, the participants’ self-reflections and recommendations for improving the program were provided.
