明朝時期赴朝鮮半島中國移民及其在朝活動研究

Abstract

The Ming dynasty was the "honeymoon period" in the relationship between China and the Korean peninsula. During this period, there were different types of Chinese immigrants to the Korean peninsula for different reasons. Before the mid-Ming dynasty, they were generally refugees, scattered troops, political prisoners exiled to Goryeo, envoys, and people who were kidnapped or drifted to the Korean peninsula; after the mid-Ming dynasty, they were mainly the Ming army generals and their descendants who remained in Korea after the end of the Renchen Japanese Rebellion, as well as the Nine Righteous Scholars who went to Korea after the fall of the Ming dynasty. They used their talents and abilities to teach Chinese culture, serve as Chinese language teachers and participate in Korean politics on the Korean peninsula, making outstanding contributions to the development and stability of the Korean peninsula. Research on Chinese immigration to the Korean Peninsula during the Ming Dynasty is of great importance to us in deepening our understanding and knowledge of the history of the Korean Peninsula and promoting regional exchanges and cooperation.
