이 시대는 문화역동(animation culture)의 시대이다. 문화가 정태적이지 않고 살아 움직인다는 것을 의미한다. 이 문화역동을 주도하는 세력은 청소년이다. 청소년에 의해 새로운 문화가 만들어지고 그 문화가 사회의 문화를 주도하기도 한다. 문화의 주변에 머무르고 있던 청소년문화 역시 문화의 충돌과 갈등으로 인하여 때로는 시대를 주도하는 문화가 되기도 한다. 그러나 오랜 시간동안 문화의 하위영역에서 사라지지 않고 잔존하는 문화도 존재한다. 이 문화들은 단순히 제로섬 게임 형식으로 존재하는 것이 아니다. 동시에 존재하기도 한다. 그리고 주도 문화가 잔존 문화가 될 수도 있고, 잔존 문화가 부상 문화로, 이어 주도 문화로 될 수도 있다. 과거 아니 현재까지도 하위문화로서 취급되어온 청소년문화가 대부분의 문화의 장(場)에서 주도적인 역할을 감당하고 있다는 것을 의미한다. 하위문화로 취급되어온 청소년문화가 영역과 구분에 따라 주도문화 또는 주도로 진입하기 위한 부상문화로 재등장 하고 있는 이 시점에서 청소년문화에 대한 새로운 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구는 변모하는 문화현상에 대한 이해에 기여하기 위하여 그동안 소홀하게 취급되었던 청소년문화를 레이몬드 윌리엄스의 이론에 의지하여 청소년문화의 새로운 시각 정립을 위한 기초적 단초를 제공하고자 한다.
Abstract
This age is age of Animation culture. It means that culture moves kith and kit without being Suspended state. Influence that lead this animation culture is Youth. New culture is made by youth. Become culture that youth culture been staying on surrounding of culture leads age sometimes by collision and discord etc. of culture. But, culture that survive without disappearing in subculture during long time exists. This cultures do not exist in zero-sum game form simply. Exist at the same time. And Dominant culture can become Emergent culture to push, and Emergent culture can become by Residual culture and continuously by Dominant culture. It means that youth culture that is handled as subculture until present not past is equaling leading role in chapter of most culture. Need new current year about youth culture which youth culture that is handled by subculture is doing reappearance by Dominant culture according to area and Emergent or Residual culture to enter by leading at this point. This research wishes to rely on youth culture that was handled meantime hurriedly contribute in comprehension about culture phenomenon which undergo a change to Raymond Williams' theory and offer basic for new sight thesis of youth culture.
