This study attempted to create popular designs that are applicable to the real world based on the uniqueness of young fashion haircuts and classic styles in ‘barbering’ at the National Skills Competition. For this, young fashion haircuts and classic styles in ‘barbering’ were reviewed, using previous papers, related books, and literature. After analyzing the characteristics of image, the works were investigated. The study results found the following: The young fashion haircuts and classic styles in ‘barbering’ at the National Skills Competition revealed a possibility that they would be actually used in the barbering industry and people’s daily lives, not just one-time works for the competition. They also showed decent potential as popular men’s hairstyles. It is anticipated that the study results would be used for other studies and actively utilized in the barbering industry.
