중요도-성취도 분석에 의한 전시 컨벤션 개최지 평가

본 연구는 전시컨벤션 기획가를 대상으로 서울에 대한 전시컨벤션 개최지로서의 7개 요인 및 42개 선택속성을 중요도-성취도 분석을 통하여 평가함에 목적이 있었으며 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전시컨벤션 개최지의 42개 선택속성에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, 13개의 속성이 Ⅰ사분면(‘지속적 노력필요’), 4개의 속성이 Ⅱ사분면(‘과잉노력 지양’), 5개의 속성이 Ⅲ사분면(‘우선시정 필요’)에 그리고 20개의 속성이 Ⅳ사분면(‘저우선 순위’)에 위치하고 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 둘째, 전시컨벤션 개최지의 7개 요인에 대한 중요도-성취도 분석 결과, 중요도와 성취도가 높은 Ⅰ사분면에 위치하는 요인은 “전시컨벤션센터 시설”, “전시컨벤션센터 이용비용” 및 “전시컨벤션 개최지 숙박공간” 요인으로 나타났다. 중요도는 높으나 성취도는 낮은 Ⅲ사분면에 위치하는 요인은 “전시컨벤션 개최지 지역공간”으로 평가되고 있다. 한편 중요도와 성취도가 낮은 Ⅳ사분면에는 “전시컨벤션센터 운영”, “전시컨벤션 개최지 관광공간” 및 “전시컨벤션 개최지 여가활동공간” 요인이 위치하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 서울의 전시컨벤션 개최지로서의 중요도-성취도에 대한 평균값의 차이는 2개의 속성을 제외하고는 40개의 속성이 양의 값(+)을 나타내어 속성의 중요도에 비교하여 성취도가 낮은 것으로 평가되었다.

Abstract

This study aims to examine seven factors and forty-two selection attributes of Seoul asan Exhibition and Convention Destination Site through the Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA)from the Exhibition and Convention Planner. The result of this study shows these threeconclusions. First, according to the result of the Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) of the forty-two selection attributes of an Exhibition and Convention Destination Site, thirteen attributes wereplaced on the right top area(Keep Up the Good Work), four attributes were placed on the rightbottom area(Possible Overkill), five attributes were located on the left top area(Concentrate Here),and the other twenty attributes were located on the left bottom area(Low Priority). Second, theImportance-Performance Analysis(IPA) of seven factors in an Exhibition and ConventionDestination Site reveals that the factors in the right top area(Keep Up the Good Work) of highimportance and high performance were Exhibition and Convention Center Facilities, Exhibitionand Convention Fee, and Exhibition and Convention Center Accommodation Capacity. And theone factor located on the left top area(Concentrate Here) of high importance and low performancewas Exhibition and Convention Destination Regional Space, while the other factors of Exhibitionand Convention Center Management, Exhibition and Convention Destination Tourism Space andExhibition and Convention Destination Leisure Activity Space were placed on the left bottomarea(Low Priority) of low importance and low performance. Third, the difference of the mean valueof the Importance and Performance on Seoul as an Exhibition and Convention Destination Site hasbeen revealed that the performance of the attributes was lower than the importance of the
