Abstract

The objectives of this study were to grasp the actual condition, to analyze problems, to suggest improvements plans about General Agricultural Education through practical-course curriculum for elementary school. The study was carried out through the review of literature and survey research. The results that were obtained through the above research are as follows;First, the region under country was indicated to be more positive on the influence of General Agricultural Education contents upon enhancement in problem-solving ability and upon a change in practical behavior, on a problem of divisional characteristic in General Agricultural Education contents, on application level of home-learning method, on a teacher's interest in General Agricultural Education, and on prior knowledge level of General Agricultural Education, than large city or small-and medium-sized city. Second, large city was higher in satisfaction with the facilities and practice equipments & materials and with the learning preparatory materials for guiding General Agricultural Education than small-and medium-sized city or region. Third, it was indicated that the higher career leads to the more negative in the aspects of appropriateness for the content level in General Agricultural Education, of adequacy in guidance volume for one sequential time, and of divisional characteristic of contents. Fourth, in the sphere of the 7th practical arts curriculum, the spheres of being difficult for teaching were indicated to be in order of the agricultural sphere and the industrial sphere. The spheres of being easy for teaching were indicated to be in order of the computer sphere, carer, environmental sphere and the home sphere. Fifth, the contents of being most confident given guiding General Agricultural Education were indicated to be in order of growing vegetables, growing flowers, and raising animal.
