청소년의 또래관계스트레스와 비자살적자해의 관계: 적응적 인지적 정서조절에 의해 조절된 자기비난의 매개효과

초록

본 연구에서는 또래관계스트레스가 자기비난을 통하여 비자살적자해에 이르는 매개효과를 적응적 인지적 정서조절이 조절할 것이라 가정하고, 조절된 매개효과 모형을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 B지역 6개 중고등학교 청소년을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 한 번 이상 비자살적자해 경험이 있다고 응답한 288명의 자료를 가지고 SPSS와 Process macro를 활용하여 기초통계 및 조절된 매개효과 분석을 실행하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변수 간 상관분석 결과 또래관계스트레스는 자기비난과 비자살적자해와는 유의한 정적상관을, 적응적 인지적정서조절과는 유의한 부적상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 또래관계스트레스와 비자살적자해 간의 관계에 대한 자기비난의 매개효과는 유의하였으며, 자기비난은 이들의 관계를 완전매개 하였다. 셋째, 자기비난과 비자살적자해 간의 관계에서 나타낸 적응적 인지적 정서조절의 조절효과는 유의하였다. 넷째, 또래관계스트레스가 자기비난을 통해 비자살적자해에 이르는 매개효과는 적응적 인지적 정서조절의 수준에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 즉 조절된 매개모형은 유의한 것으로 검증되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 비자살적자해 예방을 위한 상담개입의 함의를 논하였다.

Abstract

This study investigated whether self-criticism mediates the relationship between peer relationship stress and non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI), and examined the moderated mediation model of adaptive cognitive emotional regulation. For this, online survey was conducted on adolescents, and the data of 288 adolescents who responded that they had at least one non-suicidal self-injury experience were analyzed. The results were as follows. First, as a result of correlation analysis between variables, peer relationship stress showed a significant positive correlation with self-criticism and non-suicidal self-injury, and a significant negative correlation with adaptive cognitive emotional regulation. Second, the mediating effect of self-criticism on the relationship between peer relationship stress and non-suicidal self-injury was noted, and self-criticism completely mediated their relationship. Third, the moderating effect of adaptive cognitive emotional regulation in the relationship between self-criticism and non-suicidal self-injury was significant. Fourth, the mediating effect of peer relationship stress on non-suicidal self-injury through self-criticism showed a significant difference depending on the level of adaptive cognitive emotional regulation. In other words, the moderated mediating model was verified to be significant. Based on the above results, the implications of counseling interventions to prevent non-suicidal self-injury were discussed.
