六堂本 『청구영언』의 세 異本 비교 연구

본고는 최근 학계에 소개된 소창문고 소장 청구영언이 육당본 청구영언과 거의 흡사한 체제와 내용을 지니고 있는 점에 주목하여, 육당본 청구영언 이본을 종합적으로 정리한 결과물이다. 육당본 청구영언은 6.25때 燒失되었기에, 그간 학계에서는 1930년 경성제국대학교에서 신활자본으로 인쇄된 본을 통해서만 그 원형을 짐작해 왔다. 그러나 최근 발굴된 소창문고본 청구영언이 경성제대본과 흡사한 것이 알려지면서 이 둘의 공통점을 통하여 육당본의 원형을 보다 적확히 추정할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 문제는 이 두 본 사이에서 보이는 차이점이었다. 이 차이점은 육당본 청구영언의 원형을 오히려 미궁으로 빠뜨린 결과를 낳았다. 따라서 이를 해결해 줄 또 다른 육당본의 이본 발굴이 시급한 상황이었다. 본고는 이 요구에 맞추어 연세대학교 중앙도서관에 소장된 청구영언이 1926년 연희전문학교에서 육당본을 대본으로 하여 등사한 것임을 확인하였다. 본고는 이 세 본의 비교를 통하여 각 본 간의 관계와 특성, 그리고 육당본과의 이본 관계를 확인하였다. 이로 육당본 청구영언의 원형을 보다 적확히 확인할 발판을 마련하게 되었다.
Abstract
This paper compared the three versions of Cheong-gu-young-eon, focusing on the similarity of Yuk-dang-bon Cheong-gu-young-eon and So-chang-mun- go-bon Cheong-gu-young-eon of which the latter was lately discovered. Since the Yuk-dang-bon disappeared during the Korean War, it has been understood only through the text of Gyoung-seong Imperial University, which was printed based on the Yuk-dang-bon. However, the newly discovered So-chang-mun- go-bon was proved to be similar to the Yuk-dang-bon, which enabled to infer the original form of the Yuk-dang-bon. However, the two texts, So-chang-mun-go-bon and Yuk-dang-bon, also contain differences, which caused the confusion in inferring the original Yuk- dang-bon. To break through such a confusion, This paper discovered another version of Cheong-gu-young-eon, and it found that another version of Cheong- gu-young-eon in Yonsei University was the printed version based on the Yuk-dang-bon. This paper compared the three texts, So-chang-mun-go-bon, Gyoung-seong-bon, and Yonsei-bon, and it investigated their charac-teristics as well as the relation they have with the original Yuk-dang-bon to give the platform for inferring the original form of the Yuk-dang-bon.
