시명다식(詩名多識)의 문헌적 특성과 가치 연구(1)

Abstract

This study is a first result of translation to Simyungdasik for me. accordingly this paper is comes under a preface to consecutive papers. So the range of this paper limit value through consideration to philological characteristic and contents of Simyungdasik. Simyungdasik is Jung, hak-you(丁學游, 1786~1855)'s writings. He is second son of Jung, yak-yong(丁若鏞, 1762~1836) and the writing to “Nonggaworllyongga(農家月令歌)”. The contens are investigate and explain to name of a living thing in Shiching(詩經). It divide a living thing into eight. And explain that write down chapter's name and living thing's name in Shiching. Simyungdasik's rare book is still in existence a kind of three. It is possessed to Kyujanggak(奎章閣) of Seoul national university and Okura collection(小倉文庫) of Tokyo national university and Asami collection(淺見倫太郞文庫) of Berkeley university. Kyujanggak's book is good-book(善本) among the rare books. Because of refer to quantity and contents and a condition of copying. Then the rare books be possible to copying for Kyujanggak's book. And it be possible to deriving for Kyujanggak's book or the rare books from the original copy. Simyungdasik's system of investigation is original rather than admonish to a living thing in Shiching for Chinese and Japanese books. Specially the book subdivided an item of a plant that 「grass」, 「cereals」, 「tree」, 「herbs」. It is well brought out originality rather than admonish books in Shiching for Chinese and Japanese books. Jung, hak-you refer to many various books for writing of Simyungdasik. Sometimes he acknowledged that overlapping two or more than books. At this time he accompanied to rational explanation. Also we will understand to rationality that he acknowledged to a proverb or short story for clear understanding to a living thing. We will confirm to Simyungdasik's practicality that he had very many acknowledged to Bonchogangmok(本草綱目) among the various reference books. Because of Bonchogangmok is famous practical book. And this fact in company with that Jung, hak-you will embody practicality to “Nonggaworllyongga”. Simyungdasik is writings that characteristic to books of the same kind for Shiching. So Simyungdasik will many help to understand clear meaning of context. Because of Korean literature had many acknowledged to passages of Shiching. And Simyungdasik is very precious material that we will get to encyclopedic knowledge in connection with name, shape, a habit of a living thing. Also Simyungdasik is writings for original system that it wasn't turned over rather than similar writings for rationality and practicality to Chinese and Japanese books.
