Abstract
This study examines the appearance of Jeonju(全州) through the perspectives of many generations of poets, how the appearance of the village was perceived by poets, how the poets feel the change of the village, and why those eyes were changing, and what is the cause of it. For the poets of the Koryo dynasty and the Joseon dynasty, Jeonju was familiar with the name Wanshanbu(完山府). Especially, it became more popular with the nomination of Jeonju residents ‘Pungpae(豐沛)’. To the poets, the Pungpaekwan(豐沛館) object became the object of singing things. The poems that sang it were generally perceived as a space of praise and change as a royal road and shaped into works. Among them, the works of Lee Seungsoo(李承召)'s “Songjeojubuyun(送全州府尹)”, Seogujung(徐居正)'s “Kyungkijeon(慶基殿)”, Jangyu(張維)'s “Wangsanbu (完山府)”, and NonsaShin(盧思愼)'s “Jenamjung(濟南亭)”, it admires the city, king, and customs of China and praises Jeonju as the most sacred area. In other words, it disregarded Jeongju, a farming village that was the home of Leesemin(李世民), the founder of the Tang Dynasty, it set the position of Pae-hyeon(沛縣) Pung-hyeon(豐邑), the hometown of Hangogojo(漢高祖)'s Yubang(劉邦), on an equal footing, even the Zhu(周) Dynasty's Ancestral Pilgrimage extends back to the vacant land where the Bin(豳) was built and praises Jeonju as a royal road. And the beauty of the scenery of the area was replaced by the view from the pavilion and the subculture it feels there. But as all things grow and disappear, Jeonju has also declined. It is also true that since the Japanese invasion of Imjin and the Chanise invasion of Horan, it has been steadily declining since then. Needless to say, it has lost the ability to protect local residents in emergency situations. Above all, politics that did not make people's unity more than geographical benefit did its part. Even the disgraced land called 'the land that has been abandoned' could be confirmed through Cho Hyun-Myung's “PungNamMunLu(豐南門樓)” However, the natural environment of fertility and abundance still keeps track of the aesthetic. After the decline, I was able to confirm that it was located in the city of taste for the arts in “Wonsan Namcheon Bridge(過完山南川橋)” of Samgeoriang(三宜堂), “Jeonju(全州)” of Maecheon(梅泉) Hwanghyun (黃玹).
