新發掘 詩話集『左海詩藪』의 內容 및 編者 探索

Abstract

The paper examines the format and contents of the newly discovered book of notes on poetry, Jwahaesisu(左海詩藪), and reveals that the editor of the book is Hong Joong-in(洪重寅). Based on the editor’s identity, it has become possible to confirm that Sihwahwiseong(詩話彙成), Dong-gug Sihwahwiseong(東國詩話彙成), and Sihwahwipyeon(詩話彙編) are also the works of Hong Joong-in. Jwahaesisu is a great work by Hong Joong-in that summarizes the history of Korean poetry until that time. The poems of Korea's history were collected and divided by era first, and then designated by author, and finally they were also sorted by status and quality. As for the method of description, such as person's name or national name are presented, and a brief biography of the person or information about the country is annotated in two lines, followed by the corresponding poems. Notes on the poetry were only included in cases where the person directly wrote a poem or there were poems by later people related to the person. The material value of the Jwahaesisu can be said to be the developmental succession of the achievements of the Sihwahwiseong(詩話彙成), Dong-gug Sihwahwiseong(東國詩話彙成), and Sihwahwipyeon(詩話彙編). In the future, I will reveal the contents of Sihwahwiseong, Dong-gug Sihwahwiseong, Sihwahwipyeon, and Jwahaesisu, and conduct an in- depth analysis of the earlier and later versions of these books of notes on poetry. Furthermore, it is necessary to confirm the authoritative versions of these works through the collation of the texts.
