The author conducted a writing activity using a Facebook gorup, ‘The Nihongo Learning Community’. This records the contents, summarizes the students' impressions, and makes recommendations on similar activities in the future. The point that this activity differs from class activity using SNS so far is to have an opened community as the activity base. As a result of questionnaire survey after the course, it turned out that the students had welcomed this activity. In addition, it became clear that it was receiving much stimulation to communicate with strangers. Finally, I pointed out that it is important for a teacher to make a background on which it is possible to incorporate such activities in a variety of foreign language classes from now on.
