This report picked 87 parts which made an animal and plant and a person material in poetry and nursery rhyme recorded in <Nankichi Niimi complete works> Vol. 8 and classified it according to the material. And I planned the investigation of the meaning from it. It is the poetry that expressed the poetry that four subjects that I considered in this report appreciated humor and banter-like poetry, living entity and nature, the poetry that expressed feeling of nostalgia and the yearning for a person, the feeling that it is bright and is glad. In poetry of Nankichi Niimi, loneliness and the sadness that I experienced in childhood affected his internal world. Therefore, such an element sells well in his work. Nankichi Niimi kept company with another person continuously to overcome such loneliness and sadness. And I can bring such sympathy into the work. Poetry of Nankichi Niimi is significant poetry to let you think about a really human heart once again.
