Abstract

A magazine is to contribute “Gonkitsune" to “Akai Tori", and in 1932, 19-year-old Nankichi Niimi walks the way of the writer. At the time when Nankichi Niimi is active lively, it falls on time of the Pacific War. This report paid its attention to time of the Pacific War falling on a season of Nankichi Niimi in this way. I consider it what kind of influence the culture control of the war period had on activity and the work of Nankichi Niimi. Nankichi Niimi used a child magazine at that time as means to grasp culture control of the war period. For example, “new juvenile culture" or “children's story mind" are them. It was a chance and interchanged with a literary person of the cooperation of the war. Nankichi Niimi found out a method to survive the war period with interchange and the magazine with these writers. Therefore, it may be said that such way of life of Nankichi Niimi was one method for maintenance and work activity of the purenesses as the writers of children's story.
