In this paper, I used to target tone marks of proper nouns of Korean origin which are shown in the Toshoryo manuscript of Nihonsyoki and I investigated our materials and Middle chinese, Japan Go’on · Kan’on. The results are as follows. First, Our materials do not parallel the tone of Mid chinese so I have laid emphasis on reporting these materials does not reflect the tone of Mid chinese. That’s why the tone marks of proper nouns of Korean origin observed in Toshoryo manuscript could be a useful literature to supplement the shortage of the amount of Maeda manuscript and Iwasaki manuscript.
Abstract
