초록
There are very few studies about the ‘noun+verb’ type compound verbs. But Sakakura(1966:450) showed that the ratio of ‘noun+verb’ type compound verbs is about 20%. Plus, most Japanese ‘noun+verb’ type compound verbs don’t exist as compound verbs in Korean. So, it could be very useful to understand the usage and the word formation of ‘noun+verb’ type compound verbs in terms of linguistics and Japanese education. This paper focused on the compound verb ‘noun+dukeru’ because it is one of the most productive compound verbs among ‘noun+verb’ type compound verbs. Specifically, compound verb ‘noun+dukeru’ which is related to ‘human activity-spirit and action’ and ‘natural object and natural phenomena’ was chosen as a subject of the analysis. In order to analyze how the compound verb ‘noun+dukeru’ is actually being used, instances of compound verb ‘noun+dukeru’ were gathered from BCCWJ and NWJC. Frame semantic approach was adopted to analyze the word formation of compound verb ‘noun+dukeru’ because it enables us to posit the correspondence between the noun part and the verb part systematically. The semantic frame of the verb ‘tukeru’ could be divided into main event, event participants, and related events. This study especially focused on the related events because it was deeply involved with the word formation of compound verb ‘noun+dukeru’. Related events of the verb ‘tukeru’ can be divided into (i) access, contact, attachment, installation, (ii) supplementation, reinforcement, (iii) decoration, wear, (iv) index, system. The analysis revealed that most noun parts of compound verb ‘noun+dukeru’ were related to index, system, judgement.
