수능 세계지리 문항에 제시된 국가의 공간 분포 분석

본 연구는 대학수학능력시험 세계지리에 출제된 국가 현황을 살펴보고, 이러한 국가들이 오늘날 우리의 현실과 어느 정도 일치하는가를 분석한 것이다. 평가 문항 분석 결과 특정 국가나 지역에 대한 편중 현상을 확인할 수있었으며, 세계지리의 세부 영역별로도 선호되는 국가와 지역에 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 대륙별 출제 빈도에서는아시아 대륙의 출제 빈도가 가장 높았고, 그 중에서도 동아시아가 가장 높은 빈도를 보였다. 국가별 출제 빈도에서는미국이 가장 높은 빈도를 보였으며, 중국, 일본, 호주, 러시아, 영국, 이집트, 뉴질랜드 등의 국가가 높은 빈도를 보였다. 반면에 아프리카와 유럽, 중앙아시아, 중남미 지역의 국가들은 상대적으로 출제 빈도가 낮았다. 세계지리 문항에출제되었던 국가들에 대한 전체 현황과 우리나라와 경제적 관련성이 높은 국가들과의 일치정도를 분석한 결과 미국,중국, 호주, 일본, 칠레 등은 일치하였다. 그러나 유럽에 위치한 국가들과 멕시코를 포함한 중남미 국가들, 그리고 동남아시아 국가들에 대한 출제 빈도는 현실과 비교할 때 낮은 편이었다.
Abstract
This study is the investigating of the appearance frequency of countries in Korea CSAT(CollegeScholastic Ability Test) world geography test. And the results compared with the reality of Korea. Results, it wasconfirmed that the appearance frequency of a particular country or region is high. In addition, there were regionalvariation in the details area of world geography. The frequency of Asia was the highest among continents. Especially, East Asia's frequency was the highest within Asia. The United States showed the highest frequency inthe country level. And next were the order of China, Japan, Australia, Russia, Britain, Egypt and New Zealand. Onthe other hand, Africa, Europe, Central Asia and Latin American countries showed relatively low appearancefrequency in CSAT world geography test. The United States, China, Australia, Japan and Chile have a higheconomic relevance with Korea, also have a high appearance frequency in CSAT world geography test. But, theEuropean countries, the Latin American countries and South East Asia countries were shown low frequency inCSAT world geography test when compared to the reality.
