현재 풍수계에 통용되는 풍수이론은 크게 물형론, 이기론, 형세론으로 구분된다. 이들 이론은 나름대로의 명분과 근거를 갖추며 점차 발전되어 왔지만, 반면 논리적 한계를 노출하고 있다. 그것들은 각각의 특징과 장단점이 뚜렷하게 구분되는데, 일면 타당성이 있는가 하면 비논리적이고 비합리적인 부분도 상존한다. 이러한 점이 풍수가 비과학적이라 비판받으며, 제도권에 정착하지 못하고 술수로 취급받는 이유이다. 따라서 풍수의 학문적 승화와 대중적 보편화를 이루기 위해서는 풍수도 좀 더 신랄한 비판과 성찰이 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 각각의 풍수이론은 객관적 비교를 통해 장점은 더욱 발전시키고 단점은 보완하는 노력을 경주할 필요가 있다. 그러기 위해서는 각 이론은 일정한매뉴얼에 의해 체계적인 교육과 학습이 병행되어야 한다.
Abstract
The Feng Shui theory current in the Feng Shui circles is presently classified into Shape theory, compass theory and Circumstances theory in a broad sense. These theories have been gradually developed with their own cause and basis, but they reveal their logical limitations. They have their own clear characteristics and advantages and disadvantages but contain something illogical and unreasonable. Feng Shui has been criticised as unscientific because of this point and failed to be positioned in the institutional circles and treated as the trick. Accordingly, it is now a point in time that it is necessary to make a little more acrimonious criticism and reflection of Feng Shui to achieve its academic sublimation and popular universalization. In this context, this study attempted to make known the need to make efforts to develop the advantage of each theory of Feng shui and complement its disadvantage through their objective comparison. For this purpose, this study presented that systematic education and learning of each theory of Feng Shui should be provided for people based on the uniform manual.
