에코댄스의 구조 및 교육적 의미

Abstract

The concept of Ecodance, the combination of “eco” and dance, is based on the ecological way of thinking, the ecological body, and the ecological movement. The ecological thinking is based on both the Western ecological thoughts and the Eastern way of thinking, whcih does recognize nature as the order before any artificial forms and does not distinguish humanity from nature. The ecological body is based on the way of thinking that views human body as part of nature. The ecological movement means the various symbols of mutual communication naturally realized on the ecological thinking and the ecological body. It is caused by the understanding between the uniqueness of an individual and the collective relationships among individuals. The educational meaning of Ecodance is realized in the way of ecological thinking, creativeness, and practice, that is, the spirit of “salim,” the expression of “daum,” and the practice of “eoulim.”The academic approach toward Ecodance is necessary. It will open new horizons to pedagogy, artistic performance, and aesthetics.
