국가지질공원 지오사이트와 고등학교 한국지리 학습내용과의 관련성

Abstract

This paper is to identify the relevance of geosites in the National Geoparks of Korea (NGK) and learning contents for the geography of Korea (GK) at high school. In addition, it is to explore possibilities of using geosites as a site for field works. There were 144 geosites that include geomorphological elements which is related to the geomorphological section in the GK, and 32 geosites were directly mentioned as case areas. There are no NGK with all 6 sub sections. However, Busan, Gangwon Peace and Gyeongbuk Donghaean national geoparks are predominant in the context of geodiversity and are associatated with 5 sub sections. Ulleungdo⋅Dokdo national geopark has the largeset number of such association with 25, and less than 10 geoparks are Chungsong⋅ Mudeungsan Area⋅Jeonbuk West Coast national geoparks. According to the relevance to sub sections, there were 47 volcanic landforms followed by 42 coastal landforms. Jeju Island national geopark has the largest number with 10 mentioned in the textbooks as case areas, followed by Gangwon Paleozoic national geopark with 8. Therefore, the NGK is considered to be a very important and suitable place for field works of the geomorphological section in the GK.
