이 연구는 고교 태권도 지도자의 리더십 유형과 리더신뢰 및 지도효율성의 관계를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 인천과 경기도에 소재하고 있는 고등학교 태권도 선수를 모집단으로 선정하였고, 표본추출방법은 편의추출법(convenience sampling)을 사용하여 366명을 최종 연구대상으로 사용하였다. 조사도구는 리더십 유형과 리더신뢰 및 지도효율성에 관한 기존의 설문지를 각각 수정 및 보완하여 사용하였으며, 문항의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하기 위하여 탐색적 요인분석과 Cronbach's α 분석을 실시하였다. 수집된 설문자료는 SPSS/PC+15.0 version 프로그램을 이용하여 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 태권도 지도자의 리더십 유형은 리더신뢰에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 훈련지시 행동유형은 계산적 신뢰, 지식적 신뢰, 동일화 신뢰에 영향을 미쳤고, 민주적 행동유형은 지식적 신뢰, 동일화 신뢰에 영향을 미쳤으며, 긍정적 보상 행동유형은 계산적 신뢰, 동일화 신뢰에 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 사회적지지 행동유형은 지식적 신뢰와 동일화 신뢰에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 태권도 지도자의 리더십 유형은 지도효율성에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 훈련지시 행동유형과 민주적 행동유형은 인지된 경기력과 운동생활성과에 영향을 미쳤고, 전제적 행동유형은 인지된 경기력에 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 태권도 선수의 리더신뢰는 지도효율성에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 계산적 신뢰, 지식적 신뢰, 동일화 신뢰는 인지된 경기력과 운동생활성과에 영향을 미쳤다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among the coaches' leadership style, leader trust, and coaching effectiveness of Taekwondo players in high school. The participants of this study were Taekwondo players of high school in Incheon and Kyonggi-do. Samples of 366 questionnaires by convenience sampling were used as final research materials. The statistical techniques, which were used for the analysis of this study, were frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, by using SPSS 15.0. Through these procedures, the following conclusions were elicited. First, the leadership styles toward Taekwondo player's coaches had a significant influence on leader trust. That is, instructional behavior during training affected calculated trust, informational trust, and identification trust. Positive reinforcement behavior affected calculated trust and identification trust. Socially supportive behavior affected informational trust and identification trust. Second, the leadership style toward Taekwondo player's coaches had a significant impact on coaching effectiveness. Taekwondo coaches' leadership styles had a significant impact on coaching effectiveness. Instructional behavior during training and democratic behavior affected perceived levels of athletic performance and athletic progress, and authoritarian behavior affected the perceived level of athletic performance. Third, leader trust with regard to Taekwondo coaches had a significant influence on coaching effectiveness. That is, calculated trust, informational trust, and identification trust affected perceived levels of athletic performance and athletic progress.
