Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the effective operation of the Culture and Arts-type Education Donation Consulting Group to strengthen the sustainability and independence donation of culture and arts education. To this purpose, the current status of culture and arts educational dona- tions and prior studies on culture and arts educational donations in Korea were examined through literature research and proposed the operation plan of the consulting group as follows. First, it is re- quired to establish a philosophical foundation for operating a consulting group focusing on the value of culture and arts by linking cultural arts and humanities foundations. Second, an active educational donation network is established to secure an operating system where voluntary participation and sharing of cultural arts education donors and cultural arts education consumers can occur. Third, manuals, tools, and materials for systematic consulting implementation are developed to discover and match local educational contributors by education recipients. Fourth, regular monitoring and sat- isfaction surveys of the educational donation process are conducted so that social reflux of the results of cultural and artistic educational donations can occur. Lastly, by deriving successful models and ex- amples of cultural and artistic educational donations, we will continue to develop measures to strengthen the ultimate sustainability and self-reliance of cultural and artistic educational donations in our society. This operation process of the education donation consulting group should ultimately ensure that long-term planning and research are carried out to self-sustaining and disseminating cul- tural and artistic education centered on the field and experience.
