Abstract

Recently there are a lot of opportunities to show films and moving images appearing You Tube and many other Ott platform. Not only feature film and short film, but also Documentary, narrative film, experimental film, and music video newly added short form in many platforms and apps. Since the change of the ways to show moving images, there are emerging new forms and genres, and mak- ing styles around film making environment. From the 1970’s, film making classes in film department in university have been almost the same curriculums in terms of making process and divided func- tions based on narrative film. Raising on You Tube, film making education requires personal and vi- sionary film making programs in addition to group film making studies. Since the birth of film art, experimental film have been pursuing creative and personal visual lan- guage not to be bound by confined narrative form. All the filmmakers should make their own film form according to their own ideas and thoughts, so that they could create original art worlds by themselves. For the purpose of presenting creative visual film education, I suggest three fundamental aspects of experimental film, such as structure, space, and time of film. Unlike to narrative film de- pendent on consistency and unity of space time, experimental film changes drastically filmic space time. By changing , dividing, and abstracting the filmic space time, it could make the invisible visible. Experimental film making education can help not only to adjust newly emerging You Tube and other platforms, but also expand the possibilities of film art the other side of conventional narrative films.
