FIE-B 프로그램을 통한 중재학습 경험이 유아의 정서지능 및 언어표현력에 미치는 효과: EM 도구를 중심으로

본 연구에서는 FIE-B(Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment Basic) 프로그램의 9가지 도구들 중 정서표현을 해석하고 감정의 사회적/행동적 상호 관계를 이해하며 감정을 일으키는 요소들을 찾는데 초점을 둔 EM(Identifying Emotions)도구를 통한 중재학습경험이 유아의 정서지능 및 언어표현력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자하였다. 이를 위해 부산시에 위치한 D유치원의 만 5세 유아 50명을 연구대상으로 두 개 학급을 각각 실험집단과 비교집단으로 임의 배정하였다. 총 18회기의 처치 후 사전검사와 사후검사의 결과를 비교한 결과 FIE-B 프로그램을 통한 중재학습경험은 유아의 정서지능 및 언어표현력의 일부 하위요인에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 FIE-B 프로그램이 유아의 인지기능 향상뿐만 아니라 정의적 발달에도 효과가 있다는 것을 입증하다. 또한, 특수아동뿐만 아니라 일반 유아들을 대상으로 한 FIE-B 프로그램을 통한 중재학습경험의 긍정적인 가능성을 보여 준 연구라 볼 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of mediated learning experience through FIE-B Program on young children's emotional intelligence and verbal expression abilities. The subjects of this study were 50 young children aged 5 at D kindergarten in Busan. They were arranged randomly into either the experiment and comparison group. Data were analyzed by ANCOVA. Results showed that there were significant differences between the experimental group and comparison group in post-test scores. The result suggested that, Feuerstein's FIE-B Program is effective in the development of young children's emotional intelligence and verbal expression abilities.
