조계종 표준 『금강경』 한문본에 관한 소고

Abstract

This thesis was prepared for suggesting direction of similar researches in the future, to use it as a reference, and to explore problems and direction of improvement by revealing process of publication editing on ‘the standard Chinese text Vajracchedikāprajñāpāramitā- sūtra(金剛經) of Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism.’ 『Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra(金剛經, the Diamond Sutra )』 is a reliance sutra of Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism which advocates the Zen sect and is an important text which sutra Buddhists have taken as a guide of their belief. However, inconsistency of Buddhist scriptures were found in several places in Chinese text of 『Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra(金剛經)』which is now under circulation and distribution and the fact of no existence of unified Buddhist scriptures and absence of 『Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra(金剛經)』of the Order text which can be read easily in Korean became a momentum for proposing publication editing project of 『Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra(金剛經)』. This kind ofBuddhist history of publication editing was completed throughout 21 meetings as publication editing working level committee of 『Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra(金剛經)』 was organized with the pivot of Buddhism research center of the Education Institute. Format of Chinese text, which is comparison analysis text, has applied spacing words and has taken a parallel format to write Chinese on the top and Korean below. Only the period marks were used for punctuation marks and the end of paragraph was distinguished by applying 32 dividing in sections of Prince Somyeong(昭明) under the judgement that they are not included in base text but just for better understanding of sutra. The standard Chinese text was completed by modifying a total of eight locations by comparing and analyzing many main texts, reference texts, and different translation texts with Kumārajīva(鳩摩 羅什) collection editions of Goryeo Great Sutra Text(高麗大藏經) as the base text through stages of verification such as sutra committee, public hearing, and etc. Contents of modification were revealed through the end note of ‘the standard Chinese text.’
