애자일 방법론을 이용한 사용자 멘탈모델 연구: 유아 영양 식단 구성 앱을 중심으로

Abstract

This study proposes a design methodology that combines user mental model and agile process to efficiently design optimal user experience when users have various needs due to various purposes that they want to achieve in the situation of task. To this end, a literature survey on the user analysis methodology was conducted, and the effect of the user mental model was identified. The user mental model was designed with a focus on the 'composition of an infant nutrition balanced diet', a situation in which user needs exist in combination. Based on the designed mental model, a prototype of the app was created and the agile process was fused to complete user experience design that elaborately reflected the user mental model through repeated evaluation and developing processes, and the effects are as follows. First, when user needs exist in combination, the design direction could be clarified by excluding speculation and designing accurate user tasks through the user mental model. Second, through the development of UX design using the agile process, a user experience design that specifically matches the user mental model was completed. Third, in the development of UX designs with complex user needs, the design methodology that combines the user mental model and the agile process could increase the completeness of the design and save time. It is hoped that this methodology will help the UX design development process of various topics in which user needs and tasks are complex.
