The rapid advancement of IT technology and globalization opened a new era of cyber education and a lot of students are pursuing their study in cyber space. Currently, there are 18 cyber universities and 4 cyber graduate schools in Korea. Therefore, this study is to find out the impact of IT competency, academic burnout, academic environment, vision of major, academic interaction on scholastic achievement and academic persistence focused on hospitality and tourism graduate students in cyber university. The result of this study showed that the most important factors impacting scholastic achievement is academic interaction. Secondly, the most important factors impacting academic persistence are the vision of major and academic interaction. However, IT competency and academic burnout do not impact scholastic achievement and academic persistence in contrast to previous studies. Therefore, university officers should fucus on building strong relationship between students and professors and building clear and focused vision.
