이타주의에 대한 신학적 연구 ― 포스트휴먼 이타성 담론과 평화 담론의 대화

초록

이타성의 본성은 무엇인가. ‘이타성’(利他性, Altruism)의 문제는 고답적인 종교적이며 도덕적인 문제인가. 아니면 전대미문의 인공지능시대를 살아가는 포스트휴먼이 여전히 인간의 문제로 고민해야 하는 현실적인 문제인가. 본 연구는 포스트휴먼의 관점에서 현대 이타주의 담론을 조명하고 더 나아가 평화 담론에 이러한 관점이 어떻게 연결될 수 있는지를 검토하고자 한다. 이타성과 평화의 문제를 다루기 위하여 우선 이타성 담론에 대한 다양한 관점들을 고려할 것이다. 특히 이타주의에 대한 신경과학적 관점, 상호주의적 관점, 제도주의적 관점의 내용을 검토 할 것이다. 그리고 이타주의와 평화를 둘러싼 문화적이며 종교적 연결고리가 어떻게 가능한지를 다룰 것이다. 본 연구는 결론적으로 포스트휴먼 시대의 ‘이타성’과 ‘평화’라는 두 범주의 신학적 접합점과 긴밀한 대화의 가능성을 모색할 것이다.

Abstract

What is the nature of altruism? Is the question of altruism is a highly religious and moral issue? Or is it a real human problem that those living in the posthuman era, an age of unprecedented artificial intelligence, still have to think about? This study examines altruistic discourse from the posthuman point of view, and examines how this perspective can be linked to the discourse on peace. In order to deal with the concept of altruism and peace, this study will first consider various perspectives of the discourse on altruism. this study will particularly deal with a neuroscientific, reciprocal and institutional view of altruism and how cultural and religious links to altruism and peace are possible. Finally, this study explores the possibility of a theological connection between two different categories of altruism and peace in the posthuman era.
