Abstract
The purpose of this study is to produce event data sets of interactions between actors in the North Korea question during the post-Cold War period and finally, to develop the Korean Peninsula Conflict-Cooperation Index(KOPCI). During the process,an events data method has been adopted to quantify each dyad interaction into nominal-and interval-level scales. The Events data analysis, known as a useful quantitative method in international conflict since the Cold War period, has been developed for the North Korea situation by the author. During the analysis, a total of 20,782 data has been collected and 3,353events data set has been modified by the author’s humancoding. The main dyad relations with North Korea are the U.S.,South Korea, Japan, China and Russia.
