초록

Battery safety is becoming the most important factors. Accordingly, many batteries are being developed using different materials such as water-in battery(WIB) in order to overcome safety issue of existing NMC or LFP batteries, adopting prismatic battery form in which its safety and capacity are superior. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop an anodized battery cases that has an excellent corrosion resistance against water. Due to the structure of prismatic battery which requires highest weld quality to prevent electrolyte leakage, this study also suggests a way how to restrain anodizing for welding area between CAN and cap assembly. Based on 6 ㎛ of anodized thickness, the result showed a significant improvement of corrosion resistance against water in strong acidic condition.
