울산덧배기의 인식과 형상에 의한 도상 기록

울산덧배기는 경상도 울산 지역에서 토착민의 삶과 함께 풍속에서 자연스럽게 전래된 향토 춤이다. 하지 만 급격하게 변화한 울산의 사회 환경에서 이 지역의 춤은 사라져 가고 있다. 이 연구는 울산 지역의 덧배기 를 인식하고, 그 형상을 도상(圖像)으로 기록한 것이다. 구성은 먼저 보편적인 덧배기의 동작을 토대로 울 산 지역의 덧배기 동작에 관한 형상을 정리하였다. 그 형상은 울산덧배기의 구성으로 장단에 의해 구분하 였는데, 굿거리장단의 춤, 자진모리장단의 춤으로 형상하였다. 다음은 울산덧배기를 전승하기 위하여 도상 으로 기록하였다. 도상의 기록 방법은 영상적인 기법을 병행하여 무보의 형식을 따랐다. 이 연구의 목적은 오늘날 급격하게 변화하는 사회 환경과 함께 소실되고 사라져 가는 울산덧배기를 전승 보호하기 위하여 이 를 인식하고, 전승할 수 있는 형상으로 도상 기록하기 위한 것이다.
Abstract
Ulsan Dutbeki is a folk dance that has come down naturally along with the life of indigenous people in the customs of the Ulsan area. However, due to the sudden change of the social environment, the folk dance of the region, Dutbeki, is disappearing. This study has established the choreography of Ulsan Dutbeki for the succession and preservation of it. The preceding researches that are the bases of this study are as follows. First, after analyzing the motions of Gyeongsangdo Dutbeki, the researcher investigated the similarity with the behavior in Ulsan Dutbeki. Second, the aesthetic analysis on the dance movements of Ulsan Dutbeki was done. And the origins and succession of the dance were investigated. Third, through this process, the researcher divided and arranged the curriculum for the transmission of Ulsan Dutbeki into several basic movements. In this study, the researcher has established and recorded the whole choreography of Ulsan Dutbeki based on Slow Gutgeori, Gutgeori Jangdan, and Jajinmori Jangdan which are the basic forms of Gyeongsangdo Dutbeki. The outcome of this research is to establish a choreography that will be the basis for the succession and preservation of Ulsan Dutbeki.
