기독교 인성교육으로 본 인성가치, ‘존중’ —하나님의 형상 개념을 중심으로—

교육은 사람을 대상으로 하고 사람답게 키워내어야 하기에 인성교육을 전제로 한다. 특별히, 한국의 입시위주와 기능적 교육의 현장에서 인성교육에 대한 강조는 교육의 본질을 지키고 진리 안에서의 교육이다. 여기에 기독교 대학교의 사명과 역할이 존재한다. 본 논문 의 독특성은 인성교육진흥법에서 제시한 8가지 인성교육의 핵심 가치, 덕목들(예(禮), 효 (孝), 정직, 책임, 존중, 배려, 소통, 협동) 중 ‘존중’이라는 가치를 기독교의 가르침과 연결 하여 해석하고 대학의 교양교육 차원에서 기독교 인성교육의 내용과 방법을 제시하는 연구라는 점에 있다.
Abstract
Education is aimed at people and must nurture them to be humane, thus it presupposes personality education. Especially in the context of Korea’s exam-oriented and functional education, emphasizing personality education is to protect the essence of education and to educate within the truth. Herein lies the mission and role of Christian universities. The uniqueness of this paper is that it interprets ‘the value of respect’, one of the eight core values and virtues (courtesy, filial piety, honesty, responsibility, respect, consideration, communication, and cooperation) proposed by the Personality Education Promotion Act, in connection with Christian teachings and presents contents and methods of Christian personality education in universities.
