예술영재교육원의 미술 교육과정 편성·운영 실태 분석 및 구성주의에 입각한 개선 방안

본 연구에서는 각 지역의 예술고등학교 영재교육원과 학생교육문화원(센터) 영재교육원의 미술영재 교육과정에 대한 편성․운영 실태를 분석하여 개선방안을 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 각 교육원에 질문지를 발송하여 회수된 70부를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료 분석을 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수․과학 영재교육과는 차별화된 미술영재교육 담당 교․강사들의 전문성 확보가 시급하다. 둘째, 예술영재교육원의 각과별 운영 정보나 교육과정 매뉴얼의 제공이 시급하다. 셋째, 구성주의에 입각한 미술영재 교육 방법에 대해 그 중요도는 높게 인지하고 있으나 실천도가 떨어지는 점을 개선해야 한다. 마지막으로, 미술 영재교육의 가장 중요한 핵심인 영재 교수-학습 방법에 대한 지속적인 교육이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide some possible suggestions for improvement of the current organizational and managerial conditions and the curriculums in national high schools of art and Education Centers for gifted in arts. The 70 survey copies returned and analyzed for detailed factual analyses. As a result, first, it is urgent to secure the professionalism of teachers. Second, the provisions of operational information and curriculum manuals for each education center for the arts gifted are also urgent. Third, the practice level of the art gifted education based on the constructivism has to be improved much more than they recognize. Finally, it is necessary to continue education about gifted teaching-learning methods which are the most important core of the gifted education in arts.
