차세대영재기업인의 역량 및 진로 특성 분석

특허청과 한국발명진흥회에서는 차세대 지식재산(IP, Intellectual Property) 기반 창의적인 인재를 발굴·육성하기 위하여 차세대영재기업인 교육 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 차세대영재기업인의 진로 및 역량 특성을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 252명의 설문지를 분석하였다. 차세대영재기업인 학생들은 발명이나 특허출원의 경험이 비교적 많고, 70% 정도가 이과계열 학생들이었으나 과학과목의 내신이 5개 주요 교과목 중에서 가장 낮았으며, 자신들의 전반적인 ‘ICT 및 SW 역량’ 수준은 중간 이상이라고 응답하였으나, 실제적인 활동에 활용한 경험은 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 응답자들은 지식재산 기반의 창업에 대한 관심이 있으며 이들 중 25%가 창업을 준비 중이라고 답하였다. 이를 통하여 차세대영재기업인 교육에 대한 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다.
Abstract
The Korean Intellectual Property Office and KIPA (Korea Invention Promotion Association) are running the education programs for the young creative entrepreneurs. In this study, we examined the characteristics of the creative entrepreneurs participating in this program. It is analysed 252 questionnaires. The young creative entrepreneurs had relatively many inventions or patent applications, and 70% of them were science field students, however, their science scores were the lowest among the five major subjects. Their overall ICT and SW competency levels were medium, but, their experiences in practical application activities was relatively low. Their interests in entrepreneurship based on intellectual property were high, and that 25% students were preparing. Through this study, we could find implications for the creative entrepreneurs education.
