대학생 핵심역량 진단도구 개발: W대학교 학생들을 대상으로

본 연구에서는 대학생들을 대상으로 핵심역량을 진단하고 변별해주는 진단도구를 개발하고, 진단도구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 W대학교 재학생 535명을 대상으로 검사를 실시하였고, 이중 불성실하게 응답한 35개 표본을 제외한 500명(예비검사 150명, 본검사 350명)을 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 요인분석 결과 W대학교 핵심역량 진단도구(W-CESA)는 대인관계역량 18개 문항, 문제해결역량 14개 문항, 자기관리역량 11개 문항, 의사소통역량 12개 문항 등 4개 역량, 총 55개 문항으로 도출되었으며, 4개 요인은 전체 변량의 약 53.60%를 설명하였다. 본 연구 결과 완성된 W대학교 핵심역량 진단도구(W-CESA)는 W대학교 학생 개개인의 핵심역량 수준을 진단하는 데 활용할 수 있으며, 이를 토대로, 대학에서 제공하는 교육 서비스의 개선을 위한 기초자료로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 또한, 학생들을 W대학교의 교육이념에 맞는 인재상으로 육성하는 데 중요한 토대연구로써 그 의의가 있다고 여겨진다.
Abstract
The Purpose of this study was to develop Collegiate Essential Skills Assessment for college students. 150 samples was used to generated the factors through exploratory analysis. It resulted in a scale of 4 factors and total 55 items which contained ‘Interpersonal relation’ 18 items, ‘Problem solving’ 14 items, ‘Self-management’ 11 items and ‘Communication’ 12 items. Specifically, the 4 factors solution explained about 53.60% of Total variance. As a result of this study W-CESA can be used to diagnose the essential skills of individual students at W University. Based on this, it is expected to be used as a base for improving the education services offered by universities. In addition, it is believed to be meaningful as a fundamental study that is important in fostering students as human resources suitable for the educational spirit of W University.
