Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prepare for the opening of the Lifelong Education Center for the Developmental Disabilities of Gangbuk-gu, and to provide suggestions for the development of the Lifelong Education Center for the Developmental Disabilities such as the composition of human resources, the combination of education and welfare, and the service orientation for adults with developmental disabilities. To this end, this study reviewed the literature and guidelines for disability welfare projects similar to lifelong education centers for people with developmental disabilities. As a result, the Center for Lifelong Education for Persons with Developmental Disabilities is based on Article 2 of the Lifelong Education Act and Article 26 of the Developmental Disability Act. In order to ensure that the two legal foundations in the combined structure of education and welfare can be harmoniously reflected in the development of lifelong education centers for people with developmental disabilities, the current status of lifelong education centers for people with developmental disabilities, changes in the environment of welfare for the disabled, and the formation of lifelong education center Association for people with developmental disabilities I would like to suggest.
